Leah_Madamba

Leah Madamba, MS, NCC, LPC
Vice President, Community Care
leahm@vivenow.com

Leah has spent over 20 years in the mental health field and knows the true value of building relationships and making them work within the community. From staying connected with past clients and staff to focusing on the importance of relationships in her own personal life, she prioritizes these things above all else. Leah is proud of the many strong relationships she has within the industry, from her time on the Board of Directors for NATSAP (National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs) to serving as the Conference Chair of the Southeast Regional NATSAP Conference to leading the development of the Mentor Program for Evolving Women.

Having started her career in wilderness as a therapist and program director, Leah saw first hand the value of ongoing therapeutic work once a client returns home. In her most recent role as Vice President, Clinical Integration at InnerChange, she also realized the true value of using data in treatment and a high level of accountability for successful outcomes. Leah holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Community Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

As a mother of two very active children, Leah, along with her husband, lives in Asheville, North Carolina and recognizes the importance of family and the hard work that is often times needed to nurture and maintain those tight bonds. Leah is an avid reader and has a regular yoga practice. She and her family enjoy camping and traveling together.

Marcy_Clark

Marcy Clark
Admissions Director
marcyc@vivenow.com

Marcy started in this industry in an adolescent girls program to connect with youth and help facilitate the change needed to carry on with resilience and joy. From connecting with parents and hearing the stories of their struggling youth, to restoring hope again for a brighter future, she loves being a part of the process and watching them find happiness. She was often found sitting in on group sessions and is always amazed at the vulnerability of those in the program. Marcy is convinced that because they are willing to open themselves up and work through their weaknesses, that they can lead their generation with both empathy and confidence to get through any challenge they face. She understands that building a connection with those she is serving, is an important aspect and the beginning of the therapeutic process. She still maintains relationships with many of the families that she started with.

When Marcy is not at work, she spends every minute with her family. The light of her and her husband’s life are their four kids. There’s nothing they’d rather do than watch them on the ball field or court or atdance competition. They love hiking around Southern Utah and spending summers at Lake Powell. When time allows, she loves to cook and bake all types of dishes and desserts.

Audrey Peavey has always had a heart for young people and at an early age knew she wanted to pursue a career in Social Work. Audrey obtained a BA from the University of Maine's School of Social Work, but her career path took a new turn and landed her in Hospitality Marketing and Management for 15 years, where she held various managerial positions and participated in many regional and local business associations.  Audrey joined New Horizons for Young Women, an outdoor therapy program located in Maine, at its conception in the Fall of 2000 as their Admissions and Marketing Director. This position provided her the opportunity to combine her educational and professional experiences.  Audrey then held the position of Client Services Manager for an adolescent and adult transport and intervention service. In 2012, she became Director of Admissions and Marketing for Q&A Family of Programs-young adult transition programs in West Virginia. Audrey joined the team at Vive as their Director of Outreach in April of 2017.

Audrey has also been actively involved in NATSAP (National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs), as a board member, serving on committees, chair of the National conference in 2011 and 2012, and has also co-chaired the Northeast Regional NATSAP conference a number of times in recent years. She was given a volunteer award in 2006 and 2010 at the National NATSAP conference.  Audrey lived in Maine until a few years ago when she made the move to Canaan Valley, WV. She loves the area and has become very active in the local community through civic organizations and volunteering at community events and festivals.
